Corporate retreats and leadership conferences in Lisbon

When your people sit in different offices, Lisbon is the place to meet in the middle. Direct flights from both sides of the Atlantic, a compact city, and the coast and hills within the hour. We plan the whole gathering, from the first brief to the last transfer.

A global health technology company brought its leaders together from offices in several countries. They needed one place everyone could reach easily, a conference that ran without technical surprises, and time to challenge the team, not just brief it. We kept it in the city: three nights at a five-star base in the centre of Lisbon.

What we handled

Venue sourcing, airport transfers, timing, dietary needs, the team challenge, every dinner and onsite support.

Conversation first
We started with a brunch, not a spec sheet. A group of 120 takes expert coordination: which rooms work, how people move between sessions, how the days are timed, which restaurants can seat everyone together, dietary needs and how long transfers take.

We walked through all of it with the client before anything was locked in.

Customs off the table
AV was the biggest gap and stressor for their event manager. The hotel couldn't provide everything the conference needed, so we went through room layouts, screens, sound and what each presenter and team interaction actually needed, then filled the gaps with local suppliers.

Shipping equipment into another country for an event can cost days and money at the border.

120 people. One base.
The fastest way to kill the energy of an offsite is spending half of it stuck in traffic. We anchored everything to one five-star hotel in central Lisbon: rooms, general sessions and breakouts all under one roof.

The local touch came to the group: fresh pastéis de Belém delivered warm to the meeting floor. In the evenings, central Lisbon took over: a Michelin-starred dinner one night, and a panoramic rooftop big enough for all 120 the next.

A challenge, not a lecture
Real offsite momentum means leaving your comfort zone, literally.

We swapped the meeting floor for a physical challenge that put everyone on the same level. It took focus, commitment and real trust in the people backing you up. A short spell of shared nerves turned polite workplace distance into earned camaraderie.

  • Strategy in the room. Courage outside it.

One attendee wrote afterwards that the team challenge meant facing one of their biggest fears, and that it was their team's encouragement that got them through it.
